established in September 2004. It is headed by Prof.
Wolfgang Langbein (School of Physics and Astronomy) and Dr.
Paola Borri (School of Biosciences). Related groups in

The research areas cover ultrafast, nonlinear, coherent optical spectroscopy on different material systems from semiconductor nanostructures to biomolecules.
